In 1965, after completing his apprenticeship, Ian Martinsen started Martinsen’s Signs from the basement of his home. Hand lettering vehicles and signwriting shop fronts was his way of life.

As technology advanced, so did Martinsen’s Signs, being one of the earliest to transition from paint and brush to computer and vinyl cutter. Fifty years plus and thousands of happy customers later, his son Rick has continued the family owned business.
